IBO Comments

I just got a post from a girl, who is naive at best. It was scary how similar she sounded to my wife, soon to be ex-wife. I'm not trying to deter her comment or any other comment from an IBO. But, it's just so scary how they don't realize what they are saying is absurd. She posted this on my "Religion 101 and Quixtar" post....

"i don't think you can start saying stuff about this company just because of stuff you've heard. Have you gone to a seminar? By the way it sounds probably not. I just got back from a spring leadership function and i had the time of my life. There were no cult activity going on. Maybe the thing you saw was the church service when people were crying and then the concert when people were holding candles and lights. I don't believe we are coveting. The speakers that were there say that their relationships with their spouse was much like yours, but then this company brought them together.I don't believe this is some sort of cult because of my experience. My boyfriend came home and told me he is going into debt fast and this was not usual of him. He was so stressed out about it and i told him that God will take care of him and i told him to talk to God about it. He prayed to God and I prayed to God that night. The next day Jacob was speaking with our neighbor (something he did just about every day)and this business opportunity came up. I think it was an answer to our prayers. So i do believe God brought us to this. And the church service they have is a non-denominational service. I was there this past weekend and i saw roughly 1,000 people walk to the front and ask for forgivness and ask the Lord to save them. So i don't really understand how you can say this is some sort of a cult, when things like this have happened to me this weekend. Maybe you should give it a chance and see what it is about before you start badmouthing this company"

She proved my point brilliantly.

And, she made this comment on Economics 101.

"most of these people are also highly educated with degrees of business and they also had real jobs at top-notch businesses before they quick to become IBOs. I guess the only reason your professors were calling them losers was because they envy the IBOs because they make in a month more than what your professors make in a whole year and two years and three years. "

I said the IBOs call professors losers, not the other way around. Trust me, when I say NO professor has ever talked about Quixtar in any lecture....THEY DON"T CARE. Professors are intelligent men who don't have time for un-intelligent people. The rest of her comment speaks volumes.

This is exactly how my wife talks and behaves, of course most IBOs do. I bet they're in the same group and she went to the same meeting this weekend.
