Pure Quixtar Vile!
Here's another Quixtar IBO comment, I received when I first started my blog. Though he seems to have put more thought into his post, it angers me that without knowing me or our family's situation, he makes major assumption and accusations, which are absolutely false. More than anything, his comment scares me. These people are really demented and evil.
I am really not trying to slam you, although it will feel like it. I am speaking directly from the truth in my heart, with love intended in my words. I feel very very sad for you. You are coming from a complete lack of information & understanding. Your opinion is not based on sound principles, but based on NOT supporting your wife or even knowing what she is a part of. This is the best opportunity for ANYONE to make their lives count, It is expected that you don't "get it" right now. IF you would have supported her & been by her side as a MAN is supposed to be, if she didn't have to take the reins & try to make a lasting legacy for her family because her husband wouldn't do it, then she made the right decision for your son. What she is pursuing IS FOR not only your son but generations of your family to come. It took a LOT more guts do do the right thing than to hang around & wait for you. She is to be applauded for having the vision to do that. I am divorced, divorce is not good for anyone, I have kids, they are not with me, so yes I am in a similar situation (for different reasons) & I know what seperation from your kids is like. If you would REALLY take the time to get to know the leaders in the business & get inside their heads as to what their vision is for family, America & the world your eyes would either be opened or of course you could dismiss it as "crazy dreams" kinda like the world being flat, or humans will never run a four minute mile, or "motorcars" will never catch on...I know you are seriously in pain right now & that is to be expected. If you want her back, go to her, apologize forget your pride, ask her if you can learn what she has seen & know what she now knows. Whether you are a Christian or not, pray, ask God to show you what is going on & what you should do.I am not a blogger, I don't know your wife or you, I am a part of this business waaaaay downline from Bill Brit, I am not very sucessful with my business due to my own laziness, I will never stop supporting it because of what I have seen & what I know about the leaders involved. I just happened to find your blog while cruising the internet. I felt compelled to speak to you. I can only pray that you will reconcile with her, save your marriage, be the man she needs you to be & become the flag bearer for her vision. It is not too late. Please re read this later with a completely open mind after your furious wrath has subsided.I have personally seen the leaders I am associated with LEAD THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE TO CHRIST. Literally THOUSANDS, even with the usual "seed on rocky soil" etc, that is pretty darn impressive & I doubt one of you that have a negative opinion of what you "refuse" to understand have a record anywhere near that level of fulfilling the great comission. Go ahead, cast the first stone...I for one & all of my kids & my wife (who will all be in MY will) are saved because of THIS business, indirectly Bill Brit. I was lost, now I am not, neither is my family because of THIS business. You can not measure or will you know (until it is too late of course) the good that this completely legitimate (but imperfect) business has done not only in this country but MANY others as well.I want to leave with a few thoughts, Poor people can not help poor people,God wants you to prosper as your soul prospers,The great comission does not say or even imply - When YOU are safe & secure, go hide at home & make no more difference in the world, be a closet Christian & wait till I (Jesus) come to get you.YES! The top percentage of IBO's make the top money! DUH! so does the top guy where YOU WORK! (Are you surprised?)YES! This business is radical (so was Jesus, remember, he was crucified for being "different") That doesn't make it wrong or evil.YES! I am passionate about it & believe it was a devinely inspired vehicle, intended to change the world from the inside, one family at a time.YES! Not all who enter will stay (narrow is the way...) & some families have been negatively effected, hmm, I think Mary had a son who was taken away from her... I should really stop now... I understand the fear, confusion & even hatred around this wonderful business, I applaud it, it means that it IS right, just as Jesus was in his day. When you pray about all this, ask for clarity in your vision regarding where the "negative" is coming from, could it be that scales are over your eyelids?

Having burned 16 years of my life chasing my Dream in Amway/Quixtar I can see where this person is still brainwashed.I believe if you do the right thing ,good things will happen to you.Just keep doing what you know is right!
I see from this comment the IBO's have had to change their automated responses, probably because of the internet. the changes are very subtle. In the past we were taught to bleat that everyone could be at the top.
This guy states that yes, there are only a few at the top like any other workplace or job!
So many other sites have IBO's commenting as if they knew all along the tools made the kinf pins money and somehow know that is acceptable.
Even though I was involved more than 5 years ago I still underestimate the power of this cult! EVERY fault is explained away with nonsense amspeak and no substance.

Wow. This rambling sermon perfectly exemplifies several of the multitudinous problems inherent to the AMOs (and to Amquix itself, since they continue to support the MOs).
1) Diefication of the business and upline (giving thanks to God and Bill Britt as if they are nearly synonymous, claiming 'this business' is divinely inspired)
2) Complete loss of ability to reason (poster admits that he is not making any money then proudly commends himself for including his wife and kids in his will - gee, half of nothing, how generous).
3) Loss of critical thinking skills:
a. this is the same Bill Britt who is cheating on his wife, remember?, and
b. If the hierarchy of priorities is God, Family, Amway, how does the poster justify recommending divorce for 'not supporting a vision'. Wouldn't that mean that Amway then superceded family in the aforementioned hierarchy?
The ground is very fertile to go on in this vein, but why bother..."to those who understand, no explanation is necessary, to those who don't, no explanation will benefit". I'm starting to think that bumper sticker might be truer than one would hope.

First of all I hope you are succeeding in your legal battles with Quixtar. I believe that you will win!
OK, I completely understand your anger over these letters. Nevertheless, instead of anger, it is wise to feel intense pity for these people. If you read the letters, you will realize that it is not the IBOs that are speaking, it is the parrotted words of Bill Britt, Larry Winters, Joe Markiewitz, and their ilk.
In other words they are under the cult spell. I cant imagine the many times I angered my Mum when she had to put up with all my tapespeak, and my nonsense, when I was once a "stupid braindead IBO" I was once your worst enemy and would have fought you tooth and nail! Thank G-d I am truly saved by many people including my parents, my psychologist, and Eric Schiebeler (My new hero!)
Keep fighting the good fight Dad, and keep in mind, these people are not stupid, they are just under the influence of some real strong purple KoolAid, which has very severe withdrawal symptoms when the addict is removed from it.

My husband and I signed up with Quixtar in late December, 2004 and have submitted our resignation letter as of 5/2/05. Our reasons were ineffective leadership (active sponsor was more interested in the drama that surrounded her life than worrying about making her business successful), the "tools" (optional, but so is success - what a line of crap), price gouging, and business buidling limitations.

Too bad all you socialistic losers don't understand what free enterprise is all about. It's anything but free. No one minds going to pay 10 bucks for three nike golf balls and is stupid if they haven't figured out that half that money goes to Tiger. Good for him, that's good business. For all you that quit, i am only a small fry well on my way, making more in a few hours per week and have already been able to bring my wife home. the price of tapes or products hasn't hindered me, my work ethic and determination to not be a socialistic wimp motivates me. we have seen too much good from quixtar, our upline and the britt system to ever go back to a job which stands for just over broke. good luck with the other 98% broke people in that job pyramid
